Wed 11 Nov - Update for assessor instructor/examiners at Wadebridge RNLI Area Support Centre from 7 to 9.30pm. The update will cover oygen and spinal care - presentations by Chris Rowlands & Vince Timson. Remember all assessors need to attend a yearly update to maintain their qualification.
Thurs 18 June - Life Saver Support Award starting, will run over 4 thursdays with provisonal date for exam on thurs 16 July. From 7-9pm, minimum age 14 and have to be a club member. No additional costs involved unless you attend our weekly swim session at Carn Brea. Qualification will enable you to assist with safety cover & compete in water events, excluding ski & is a good stepping stone to a Beach Lifeguard course. See course info for syllabus

Friday 20 Nov - AGM at clubhouse - 7pm. Please come along and show your support for our Club and the Committee - we will be setting next years membership rates so have your say. There will be refreshments afterwards so please bring a plate of food to add to the banquet!

Sat 5 Dec - Hayle Illuminated Carnival - as usual we will be taking part - our theme is anything Christmasy - easy! Meeting point and time-details to follow.
Fri 25 Dec (Christmas Day) - meeting at clubhouse at 10.30am for our traditional Christmas Day dip in the sea with strictly NO wetsuits - swimming cossies only. Mulled wine and hot squash for everyone afterwards in the clubhouse and plenty of hot water for the showers! This is a great experience and a chance to see all your friends on Christmas Day and work up an appetite for that dinner!
